Find out about Habbo Guides; what they do, where to find them and how to become one.
Head Guides are not Habbo staff and do not get paid. They are normal players who give up their time to help newer Guides gain experience.
Guides are fine upstanding members of the Habbo community which means they keep to the Habbo Way. If you are banned you are prevented from Guiding other players for awhile.
No. Each badge is progressively harder to attain so everyone will know you're a truly exceptional Guide by the time you gain your Owl badge!
Below are some possible reasons why you may not get alerts once you've joined the Guide Group:
1. Your acount may be less than 30 days old
2. You may have gained more than 10 bans
3. You may have been banned in the last 14 days
4. You may need to reload the Hotel before you see the Guide icon in the top left
5. You may not have clicked on the Guide icon and selected 'yes' to get invites
6. No new players may need help ;-)
If you have just joined the Guide Group there is no badge to see. You earn your first badge when you have successfully helped your first player (i.e. They have remained an active Habbo for 3 days and have kept you on their Friends' List because they found you helpful)
There are only ever a maximum of 6 Head Guides who are hand picked by Habbo staff from the most experienced Guides available. You cannot apply to be a Head Guide.
Head Guides can be found participating in the Habbo Guide Group discussion board and can be recognised in-game by their Wolf badge
Head Guides are a very small group of experienced players hand-picked by Habbo to pass on their knowledge about helping new players to their fellow Guides
If you have held your Habbo account for more than 30 days, have not been banned recently or banned a lot in the past, you can be a Habbo Guide. Of course, you also need to be friendly and driven by a desire to help others! If you are mean or unhelpful to a new player they will probably drop you from their Friends List and then you'll receive no reward.
When new people join Habbo we'll ask them if they'd like to meet a Guide from Habbo. If they say yes, we'll send alerts to members of this group who are in the Hotel at the same time. Accept the invitation and you'll be whisked off to meet the new person. You can guide them around Habbo and show them what it's about.
With the Guide tool, you can decide when You want to receive the invites. After helping someone, you can pick up the next invite.
The Guide tool is shown on your screen, in the top left corner.
Habbo Guides receive badges as a reward for their good work. There are 10 levels to achieve.
If you successfully guide a Habbo, who stays in Habbo as a player, is your friend and has spends enough time online you will be rewarded.
The more Habbo's You have helped, the cooler the badge!
These badges are not available anywhere else.
Habbo Guides are experienced players who like to share their knowledge of Habbo Hotel with others and make new players feel welcome.
Habbo's Guides meet and greet new Habbos, guiding them around the place and generally making them feel at home.
Remember: new users might not need help with something specific- they are expecting a friendly welcome to Habbo, maybe a friend or two and guidance to their Habbo experience.
